Project Aspie is an award winning organisation geared towards raising the profile of people with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism within the community.
I founded Project Aspie as it was originally a simple idea that stemmed from my late diagnosis of Autism in July 2010 when I was twenty-five-years of age.
I wanted to put something back into the community and I wanted to offer the help and support to others with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism.
Project Aspie was initially an Award Winning Community Advocacy and Support Website and went from strength to strength in a short space of time winning various awards.
It made its transition in becoming a new organisation mid through 2013 and for the next 4 years Project Aspie has grown in development and in this space of time we brought together a fantastic team who have done amazing work.
Project Aspie is geared towards raising the profile of people with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism within the community.
Project Aspie was created and developed to improve and inspire people with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism to live healthy and independent lives within the community.
We have a simple ethos “Project Aspie is run by Autistics to inspire others with Autism” and it is this ethos that makes Project Aspie different, new and unique.
Everything which Project Aspie creates and develops is for people with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism in mind.
Our Motto is “Everything is possible but without will power there is nothing”.
Our Aims, Objectives and Values as an organisation is to:
