Scottish Autism: 50th Anniversary Conference
Just seven weeks today our 50th anniversary conference will be taking place in Glasgow! Be part of a platform where new and visionary approaches to the development of autism practice will be shared and hear from internationally renowned speakers.
Our two-day conference will be of interest to researchers, practitioners, autistic people, parents, carers, commissioners and policy makers. The programme is influenced and informed by a contemporary view that embraces autism as a developmental difference and focuses on a capacity view of the individual. There will be a focus on novel practice related research that demonstrates the meaningful participation of, or that has been led by autistic individuals. We are delighted to welcome the following keynote speakers: Etienne Wenger-Trayner, Professor Roy Richard Grinker, Peter Vermeulen, Dr Jacqueline Ravet, Jon Adams and Charlene Tait.
Scottish Autism 50th Anniversary conference takes place on 8th – 9th November 2018 Grand Hotel, Glasgow, Scotland.
