Special Midweek ‘Alphabet 12’ session on Wed 21st June 2017.
Special Midweek ‘Alphabet 12’ session ASD, Gender and Parenting will be exploring the gendered experience of Asperger’s Syndrome and the Autistic Spectrum. The session will comprise of 2 Lead Female Speakers, Noushka Galley (a freelance illustrator with Asperger's Syndrome) and Bobbi Elman (mother to an Asperger's teen and founder of the group 'Autism Advocate').
They will be followed by Special Guest Webinars speakers of various backgrounds from across the globe; the session is aimed at raising awareness and understanding of how gender affects the diagnosis, treatment and perception of Asperger’s Syndrome and Autistic adults.
The location of this event is The Learning Zone, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery between 2:30-4:30pm. Refreshments and the opportunity to network are available from 1:45pm-2:15pm.

- Whilst the majority of 'Alphabet 12' sessions are free for everyone, the cost of this special event is £10 per person. A FREE session of 'Alphabet 12' will be held on Saturday the 24th of June for people unable to make the 21st of June which will be an Interactive Workshop which takes place between 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm at The Learning Zone, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. Networking and Refreshments takes place 12.00 mid day till 12.45 pm.
