Project Aspie is a UK based award winning organisation geared towards raising the profile of people with Autism within the community.

I founded Project Aspie as it was originally a simple idea that stemmed from my late diagnosis of Autism in July 2010 when I was twenty-five-years of age.

I wanted to put something back into the community and I wanted to offer the help and support to others with Autism within the community

Project Aspie was initially an Award Winning Community Advocacy and Support Website and went from strength to strength in a short space of time winning various awards.

It made its transition in becoming a new organisation mid through 2013 and for the next 4 years Project Aspie has grown in development and in this space of time we brought together a fantastic team who have done amazing work.

Project Aspie is geared towards raising the profile of people with Autism within the community.

Project Aspie was created and developed to improve and inspire people with Autism to live healthy and independent lives within the community.

We have a simple ethos “Project Aspie is run by Autistics to inspire others with Autism” and it is this ethos that makes Project Aspie different, new and unique.

Everything which Project Aspie creates and develops is for people with Autism.

Our Motto is “Everything is possible but without will power there is nothing”.

Our Aims, Objectives and Values as an organisation is to:

Improve the quality of lives for people with Autism within the community.

Raise awareness of the positive qualities of Autism.

Provide unique opportunities for people on the Autistic Spectrum to gain Confidence to live a healthy and independent life.

We are committed and dedicated to see an Autism friendly environment in Employment, Education and Independent Living.

Project Aspie is delivering dynamic, interactive, new and versatile services including Community Innovation Projects, New initiatives and Versatile Presentations in Autism.

We also launch Campaign Events and Community Projects including our Community Initiative The Open Space Initiative which is geared towards offering Confidence, Motivation and Opportunities for people with Autism.

National Lottery Community Fund kindly funds The Open Space Initiative.

Project Aspie is currently creating and developing New Enhanced Innovation Projects which will be launched later this year and 2021.

These projects are all a part of next phase development and progression for Project Aspie as an organisation.
